Course Description:
 

    Principles of Equilibrium thermodynamic and Kinetics will be applied to assess the chemistry of natural fluids. Emphasis will be placed on recent developments and approaches in geochemical modeling. In particular, students will make use of the SUPCRT92 database (Johnson et al. 1992) and GEOCHEMICAL WORKBENCH (Bethke, 1994) modeling program.
