  • StereoNett, a freeware stereonet program from Johannes Duyster. (pc based).
  • Structural Geology / Mapping / GIS software from Rod Holcombe. (pc based).
    Includes:
    GeOrient - Stereographic projections and Rose diagrams
    GeoCalculator - Structural geology/mapping calculator. Very useful for converting/measuring angles between large datasets.
    Strain Calculator - Strain and shear zone calculations (including general shear)
    GeoSymbol - MapInfo structural symbol plotting utility
    GhoshFlow - Modeling Ghosh & Ramberg-style rotation of rigid objects
    GeoFryPlots - Fry point-to-point strain analysis plots
    Animations - GIF animations suitable for teaching
