The Department of Geology &
Geophysics at the University of Minnesota invites applications for a
postdoctoral researcher who will lead projects aimed at reconstructing and
interpreting environmental records from caves. We seek an individual with
strength in Paleoclimatology, Paleoceanography, and/or Quaternary Geology and
experience in U-series dating, stable or radiogenic isotope, C-14, ion probe,
or related methods. The Department
(www.geo.umn.edu) has state-of-the-art
isotope geochemistry facilities and a large community in environmental
history. Initial appointment is
for 1 year, with renewal possible.
A minimum requirement is a Ph.D. in physical sciences at the time of
