In the summer of 2004, 13 interns spent 5-10 weeks in the Department of Geology and Geophysics.  The research projects were supplemented by optional field trips including the observations of Proterozoic structures at Baraboo, Wisconsin and several trips inside Minnesota ranging from the oldest rocks in Morton to structural formations at Jay Cooke State Park.

Again this year, the interns presented posters of their research at the end of the program.  Photos from the poster session.
