Samples are analyzed on a Dionex ICS-2000 ion chromatography system consisting of an AS11 analytical column, AMMS III suppressor, AS40 autosampler, and integrated dual piston pump and conductivity detector. The eluent is generated by Dionex's patented Reagent Free eluent generator system, which produces a variable concentration KOH eluent depending upon the request of the computer based Chromeleon control software. The control program is as follows for a comprehensive anion elution scheme:
Approx.-7.0 min 2 mM NaOH eluent concentration equilibration delay
-2.5 min begin loading sample into 50 micro liter loop
0.0 min inject sample and begin data collection
Approx. 30 min change to 12 mM NaOH
Approx. 60 min end chromatogram and change back to 2 mM NaOH.
This program is subject to change due to analyte requirements and system performance.
Samples are analyzed on a Dionex ICS-2000 ion chromatography system consisting of a
CS16 analytical column and guard column, CSRS Ultra suppressor, AS40 autosampler, and integrated dual piston pump and conductivity detector. The standard eluent is 25 mM methanesulfonic acid (MSA). The control program is as follows for a comprehensive cation elution scheme:
Approx. -7.0 min 10 mM MSA concentration equilibration delay (if required)
-2.5 min begin loading sample into 25 micro liter loop
0.0 min inject sample and begin data collection
Approx. 20 min change eluent from 10 mM MSA to 25 mM MSA
Approx. 50 min end chromatogram and change back to 10 mM MSA (if required)
