ION CHROMATOGRAPHY ANALYSIS:

Cation Suite: Lithium, Sodium, Ammonium, Potassium, Magnesium, Calcium
$25.00 per sample
Minimum sample size is 5 ml without dilution.

Anion Suite: Fluoride, Acetate, Formate, Chlorite, Chloride, Nitrite Nitrogen, Bromide, Nitrate Nitrogen, Chlorate, Phosphate Phosphorous, Sulfate, Oxalate, Thiosulfate
Note: Not all anion species may be present and special sample handling is required for the quantitative determination of acetate, formate, chlorite, and thiosulfate.
$25.00 per sample.
Minimum sample size is 5 ml without dilution.

INDUCTIVELY COUPLED PLASMA OPTICAL EMISSION SPECTROMETRY (ICP-OES):

Water Major Element Suite: Li, Na, Mg, Al, Si, P, Ca, Mn, Fe, Sr, Ba (Y internal standard).
$25.00 per sample which includes the average of 5 replicate measurements and necessary dilutions.
Minimum sample size is 3 ml without dilution.

Rock Major Oxide Element Suite: Na2O, MgO, Al2O3, SiO2, P2O5, K2O, CaO, TiO2, MnO, Fe2O3, Sr, Ba (Y internal standard).
$35.00 per sample which includes the average of 5 replicate measurements, LiBO2 fusion prep, Loss on Ignition (LOI) if requested.
Minimum sample size is 100 mg and powder must be 150 micron or less and homogenous.

Custom Element Suites: Any combination of 1 - 15 elements analyzed at the same time (Y internal standard).
$25.00 per sample which includes the average of 5 replicate measurements and necessary dilutions.
Minimum sample size is 3 ml without dilution.

INDUCTIVELY COUPLED PLASMA MASS SPECTROMETRY (ICP-MS):

Rock Trace Element Suite: Be, V, Cr, Mn, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, Ga, Rb, Sr, Y, Zr, Nb, Mo, Ba, Ta, Pb, Th, U
Rock Rare Earth Element Suite: Y, La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm, Eu, Gd, Tb, Dy, Ho, Er, Tm, Yb, Lu
$40.00 per sample if included with the Rock Major Oxide Element Suite that is charged at $35.00 per sample.
$50.00 per sample if analyzed alone (includes the $10.00 per sample LiBO2 fusion prep).
Minimum sample size is 100 mg and powder must be 150 micron or less and homogenous.

Water Trace Element Suite: Li, B, Al, P, V, Cr, Mn, Fe, Co, Ni, Cu, Zn, As, Se, Rb, Sr, Mo, Cd, Ba, Tl, Pb (Indium internal standard)
$25.00 per sample which includes the average of 5 replicate measurements.
Minimum sample size is 3 ml without dilution.

Custom Element Suites: Any combination of 1 - 15 elements analyzed at the same time (Indium internal standard)
$25.00 per sample which includes the average of 5 replicate measurements and necessary dilutions
Minimum sample size is 3 ml without dilution.

Sample Preparation: Any solid sample that requires an acid dissolution or digestion, will be charged $5.00 per sample in addition to the cost of the element suite. Rock or Silicate analyses, or any other type of sample preparation requiring a lithium metaborate fusion, will cost $10.00 per sample in addition to the cost of the element suite(s).
