Xray maps of a sillimanite+andalusite+cordierite+potassium feldspar schist from the Aksaray region, western Central Anatolian crystalline complex. The rock has been affected by regional and contact metamorphism and displays complex zoning and reaction textures. Andalusite is partially replaced by sillimanite. In MAP 2 you can see plagioclase rimmed by albite rimmed by potassium feldspar.

Xray maps (Al, Si, Mn, Fe) of part of a large poikiloblastic garnet in a sillimanite schist from the Hirkadag block of the Kirsehir massif. The garnet contains late spinel + feldspar inclusions.
