The internet connections are sometimes very slow.

Your luggage may not arrive. If your luggage arrives on a different flight than the one you are on, the airline may detonate your luggage in a remote corner of the airport. Fortunately, you can buy your new field clothes from a vending machine in the airport.

Although the vast majority of meals in Turkey are excellent, there are occasional yucky ones.

Sometimes there are strange creatures in the poppy fields.
