How to mount sample - e.g., adhere to a stick of glass cut from microscope slide. can use crystalbond for this.

how to set tension, correct balance of wire tension and sample height? refill slurry pot? set drop formation time and frequency?

lubricate sliding ways with light spindle oil.

always have cover in place before turning on - getting abrasive slurry on moving parts will wear things out quickly.
