Spring 2013 MGS and USGS Brown Bag Lunches
The Minnesota Geological Survey (MGS) and the local U.S. Geological Survey (USGS) office will again host the Spring 2013 brownbag seminars. The MGS will host all but one of the seminars. The first presentation is this Wednesday, February 20, with a talk by Val Chandler (MGS) on “Passive-aggressive geophysics: An evaluation of the horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio (HVSR) passive seismic method for determining glacial deposit thickness in Minnesota”
